A walk around Green Acre's

Ok, so I walked around the property today. :) I took several pictures and thought I would share them. Here is our Apple tree. We planted this last year.

And here you can see that it has bloomed.

Here is our Peach tree. We planted this one last year also. A few days ago, it was loaded with blooms. But unfortunatly, they were short lived. And of course I did not get any pictures then.
Next time I will know to take pictures right away.

Oh and have I said that our chickens are laying??? Oh my goodness. What to do with all the eggs. We have well over 60 eggs right now, and I have allready given away 3 dozen. I guess I should consider letting them hatch some of these little guys. Baby chicks are sooo cute.
Can you see the egg in there?? That is the favorite place for the hens to lay there eggs. It is an old rusted out barrel. I was going to get rid of it, but the hens love it. We didn't check that spot for 3 days and found 19 eggs in there last week.

So we got her some new buddies!!! They are sooo cute.
They don't have names yet. But I am sure we will come up with some names for them later.

Cold Day

It is a really cold day today. But it sure is pretty outside. Here are a few pictures from out our front door. If you look close you may be able to see the leaves flying in the sky.

Oh No!

Well, if it wasn't for bad luck, I guess we wouldn't have any luck. I woke up to find out we have no water. I am not sure if the well has run dry or if pipes are frozen somewhere or what. And my husband is gone for the day. What a day this is going to be. Ido hope it isn't anying too major.
Hmmm, I don't have to do any laundry today. Thats a good thing..... Or is it? ???? Hope everyone has a great day today.
Update: Finally around 8pm our water is working again. The pump needed to be primed. My hubby came home and saved the day!!
