Oh Wednesday!

Granny Ripple!

Just love this afghan! So easy to work up. About to be at the halfway point with this one now. Then to add an edging to it. :) I am using Red Heart yarn in Aran, Med Thyme, and Windsor Blue. I am making it 3 rows of Aran and then 5 rows each of Windsor Blue and Med Thyme.

Ribbon Afghan!
This one is also a lot of fun to make. :) Such an easy pattern. Once you have the first couple of rows done, its just a repeat the rest of the way through. I am not sure of all the names of the colors in this one. I am just using up a lot of my stash yarn for it.

I have another skein of a brown color, that I am considering adding to the mix in this one. I have two shades of brown in it now, and Aran. I have tons of skeins of Aran. So I guess I will be using that in a lot of my scrap along projects.

I have not done any more work on the scarf I posted about earlier. I will get back to it again soon. :) Been really wanting to work on these two afghans.....

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Camo Girl Update

I thought I would share an updated photo of the Camo ripple afghan I am working on. It is a slow go right now. I have been working really hard on my list of things to do. My list consisted of 27 dishcloths, and 4 bath puffs.( I added to my original list) I have completed 2 bath puff's and 15 of the dishcloths. Phew!!! I am so glad to have that much done.

Oh No! Joansie, I knew you would see this. Yes, I started another project. I don't think I will ever learn. I always find so many different things that I want to make. There must be a 12 step program out there somewhere. :)

Here is a closer view of it. I am using a simple ripple pattern for this one. To get the ridges I am working in the back stitches only.
Since my husband is on the road for the weekend, I am hoping to get a lot of work done on this afghan.

This is a picture of one of the first bears that I made. I brought this one back since I have been getting questions about my bears. :) The pattern is an original design by Kristie. You can find her on Etsy. She is still offering the pattern for sale.
If you can't crochet and would like one made for you, you; you can find one in my shop.

Rain, rain and more rain!

We have been receiving a lot of rain from TD Fay. Average rain here was 8-12 inches. It was nice to get some rain, but rough at the same time. A lot of people have lost there homes and cars due to all the rain. We were fortunate here to not have any damage. Although my road was a river earlier.
The picture above was from earlier this summer.

I will have some pictures of the baby sweater soon. I only have the last couple of rows to go on the sleeve. :) I also started the baby afghan which is 1/4th of the way done. I am making a regular ripple for the baby blanket.

Its Monday again and that means that my husband is on the road again. He drives a big truck and is gone a lot. Thank goodness for all of our wonderful friends that check in on us. We also have some pretty nice neighbors here now. :)

Baby Afghan
I finally decided on a project to work on. I started a new baby afghan. This one is being made in some pretty pastel colors.

Tomato Plant # 1
Above is tomato plant # 1. If you look really close you may be able to see two tomatos. :)
Tomato Plant # 2
And this is tomato plant # 2. There is one itty bitty tomato on it right now.

Our tomato plants are continuing to do well. :) We now have tomatos on both plants.
I can't wait to have some nice red tomatos to eat right of the vine. They taste wonderful when they are freshly picked.

Cucumber Plant
This one is our cucumber plant. So far it sin't producing anything. So we will be keeping an eye on it. I hope to see some cucumbers soon.

Squash Plant
And finally here is our little squash plant. It is just starting to grow.
