Some of my projects

I am not always working on afghans. LOL!

Here is one of my newest dishcloths. I used one strand of 100% WW cotton in white and one strand of crochet thread in Orchird pink to make the above dishcloth. I added the thread hoping that it would give them better scrubbing power. :)

Here is another one using the same pattern. The only difference is that I used a Frosty green thread instead of the pink. On these dishcloths I also included a loop so that they could be hung up.

This is a prayer shawl that I am working on. I am using Bernat Kashmere in Pink for this one. I really love that yarn and wish that they still made it. It is super soft.

Cotton Candy

Cotton Candy Bath and Shower Puff

This is a brand new bath and shower puff. I used what was left of a couple of balls of WW cotton that I had. there wasn't enough of either color to complete a puff. So I thought I would try mixing them together.
About the afghan in the previous post. That pattern is called Lacy Blocks and was in a Leisure Arts Crochet book. I don't remember the exact name of the book. I didn't actully make that one. It was a gift from a friend of mine. It is one of my favorite afghans.

New Camo Girl Picture, JC

Here is the latest picture of the Camo girl Afghan. It is coming along quite nicely.
I think I have decided that this one is going to go to Kyra. If you look closely at the picture you can see that the dyelots don't match up perfectly. But it still looks really cute. :) And I am sure that she will love it. :)

Here is a new picture of JC. She is still really skinny, but looks a lot better than she did when she first showed up here. She is fitting in well around here and is a much happier dog now. When she first arrived she kept getting into the trash. I think she thought that was the only way she was going to get any food to eat. Now she is starting to realize that we give her food every day.

New Dishcloths, New Project,Camo Girl Afghan

This first set of dishcloths is made with a pretty varrigated color called Rosewood.
Its a pink, tan and white. It looks like Neapolitan Ice Cream to me.

This set is made with Peaches and Cream and Lilly Cotton.
I used the colors, yellow, Ivory and white.

This is a new scarf I just started. I am making it with an Alpaca/Acrylic blend. It is super soft.
I am using a pretty pineapple stitch. At its widest point it measures 6.25 inches. I am not sure how long I will be making this one yet.

I am still working on the Camo girl afghan. Sorry I don't have a new picture right now.
I am hoping to have this one done in the next few weeks.

Camo Girl Update

I thought I would share an updated photo of the Camo ripple afghan I am working on. It is a slow go right now. I have been working really hard on my list of things to do. My list consisted of 27 dishcloths, and 4 bath puffs.( I added to my original list) I have completed 2 bath puff's and 15 of the dishcloths. Phew!!! I am so glad to have that much done.

Camo Girl

Photobucket

This is the Pink Camo Afghan that I am working on. I am using Bernat Camouflage yarn in the color Pink Rose. I am hoping to make this one a good size for a Tween girl.

Oh No! Joansie, I knew you would see this. Yes, I started another project. I don't think I will ever learn. I always find so many different things that I want to make. There must be a 12 step program out there somewhere. :)

Here is a closer view of it. I am using a simple ripple pattern for this one. To get the ridges I am working in the back stitches only.
Since my husband is on the road for the weekend, I am hoping to get a lot of work done on this afghan.

This is a picture of one of the first bears that I made. I brought this one back since I have been getting questions about my bears. :) The pattern is an original design by Kristie. You can find her on Etsy. She is still offering the pattern for sale.
If you can't crochet and would like one made for you, you; you can find one in my shop.
