(Someone asked about the pouches)
Also, Amy uses these pouches to package her jewlery in.

Knit one, purl two or something like that

While my mom was here last week she showed me how to knit. So above you see my first official finished knit piece. I know, my ends are still hanging out and its not exactly straight. But I am happy to have finally done something with knit. Thanks mom for showing me how.

Here is the start to another knit item. My mom wrote out a dishcloth pattern for me before she had to leave. I had to start over a couple of times on this one, but I think I have it now. Excpet there is a missed stitch on it allready. Thats ok though.
I am working with Peaches and Cream cotton and size 8 needles

And here we have a crazy looking pile of pouches. Well a few piles. LOL!
Over there in the top corner with the pink one on top is a stack of finished pouches. The others are just waiting for me to sew them.

New items finished

This is a new item that will be in my shop soon. I am calling them Counter Top Scrubbers.
These cloths are perfect for cleaning off the counter tops. This set was made in a spring pastel mix and a mint green
This is a new set of dishcloths done in a new style from my regular dishcloths. This set is also done in a pretty shades of spring color.

These are some new pouches for Amy. :)
(Hope you like the colors. :) )

And here is another new item coming to my shop soon. This is a Carnation Pot Scrubber.
Made with 100% cotton. These won't scratch your pots and pans.

Another shot of my new pots and pans scrubber. The little dish under it was made my Utilemud on Etsy. :)

Been Really Busy

A custom order of dishcloths.
Made in Peaches and Cream 100% Cotton in red and yellow

Kyra's new earrings.
They were made by Amy of ThePeachtree

Another custom order, this one for round facial scrubbies.
This is the first time I have made some round ones for a customer.
I am really happy with them and plan to make more now.
I have been super busy since Easter. I just received another wholesale order. I am only halfway done with it right now. So I am hoping to get it done by the middle of next week. It includes a lot of dishcloths and a lot of bath puffs.

Pouches

I had mentioned before that I was working on some more pouches. I make these for Amy all the time. Above is a picture of the most recent ones. Alough the picture above makes it look like there is more, I only have a total of 19 finished.
I have a new digital camara and was playing around with the settings. This is just where I took two photos and stitched them together on the camara. I am still trying to figure out this new camara. So I may show some more funny looking pictures. :)
Also, my finger is healing quite well and fast. I had really thought it would take longer... But I have been fortunate in a quicker healing process. :)

All these projects

This is a picture of some new pouches for Amy. she uses these pouches to send out her jewlery in. Its also a great way for me to use up the smaller pieces of cotton yarn that I have leftover from making dishcloths and other things.
Here are some new dishcloths I have been working on. There will be some new colors in my shop soon. I have many more colors to use as well. :)

Here are some facial scrubbies. These work great for washing your face. And I love the way they feel compared to the paper ones you can buy at the store.

Here is the most recent photo of the Sandstone Ripple. I am really happy with this color.

And here is a ripple scaft that I have just made. This one came out rather short since I had allready used part of the yarn for another project. So my plans are to find a shawl pin to hold it on. :) I am hoping to find a nice Vintage one in black or gold.

Pouches, Christmas,weather,etc

I have been working on some new pouches for Amy over at The Peach Tree
Its hard to believe that Christmas is only 6 weeks away. I need to get busy and finish up any of my projects that I want to give for Christmas. How is everyone else doing for Christmas? Are you ready?
I can't say what I am making in case they happen to run across my blog and find out what it is I am making.
The weather has been cooler here over the last week. All of our pretty leaves are falling. My two Maple trees are now bare.:( Was fun watching the pretty colors while they were here. But now the kids are enjoying the leaves on the ground. :)
